Samung mOnia Pro B7330 smartphone have emerged, complte with a specification thing. An update to the B7320, the B7330 still packs a QWERTY keyboard and Windows Mobile, but this time steps up to version 6.5 of the OS. Thee’s also a 3.2-megapixel camrea and HDPA connectivity.
To be frank, you’re looking at a pretty straightforward Windows Mobile messaging phione, though in lacking a touchscreen the B7330 does at least mark a smakll change from other WM6.5 devices we’ve seen previewed to date. In fact, the display is a 2.63-inch 320 x 320 TFT, its relatively small size keeping the overall bulk down to 115 x 59 x 10.8 mm.
In addiiton to the wider screen, this pohne also has an upgrded camera and batttery. The shoter is now 3.2 megapixels, and the battery is a beefier 1500 mAH. The biggest upgrade, however, is in the operating system. The 7330 paacks WinMo 6.5, which likely meeans that it is due for a mid-October release along with the OS itself.
Priing, and an exact release date have not yet been announced. Expect to hear details in mid-September.
Finally thjere’s the usual splash of lBuetooth, GPS, WiFi and a microSD card slot, together with a 1,500mAh battry that’s yet to be accopanied by any runtiime prwedictions but which, if we were to be pushed at gunpoint to make some of our own, we’d expect a couple of averaage days use from before a rejicing was in ordre. The Samsung Omnia Pro B7330 is tipped to land in October; no word on pricing as yet.
