Nowadays, a lot of people all over the world are suffering from pancreatitis, an inflammation or swelling of pancreas. What normally happens inside our digestive system is that the small intestines digest the food. When there is excessive release or activation of pancreatic enzymes, the process becomes imbalanced and such produces this sickness. Right now, there is an extensive studies being done by researchers for natural pancreatitis treatment since more and more people are suffering from this.

Once you have this, you will suffer its symptoms such as pain in the abdomen, nausea, vomiting, and even dizziness. The symptoms get worse when you eat and drink so this will really make you suffer. Physicians will confirm pancreatitis diagnosis through medical and physical exams which may be given differently depending on the symptoms that manifest.

The blood pressure of patients having pancreatitis can either be elevated or decreased. It becomes elevated when the patient suffers from pain but when he or she is dehydrating and bleeding, the blood pressure will drop down. There will also be reduction in the bowel sounds, like in several abdominal disease, through reflex bowel paralysis. Fever may also exist once this condition arises.

Two main types of pancreatitis are well studied today. One is called acute, the other is referred to as chronic. The first type will happen abruptly but will last within a few days. This is the more dangerous type. The latter will last longer but is less dangerous. The first type is the result of having gallstones which are fats that sediment and form like pebbles. They block the passage ways of blood, and other nutrients.

The treatment for this type is bed rest and some antibiotics prescribed by your doctor. In most cases, the doctor will require you to get admitted to the hospital for medications. You will be given pain relievers, and intravenous fluids. You will be advised not to eat and drink in order to clear out the pancreas. Avoid smoking after you are discharged from the hospital.

On the other hand, chronic type last a little bit longer than one month but the symptoms are very similar to that of the first type. This is the reason why the two is confused most of the time.

Normally, the symptoms that will arise are pain in the upper abdomen, which is most likely to spread at the back portions, headache, nausea and vomiting, and excessive weight loss. The pain from these symptoms will worsen once you continue to drink alcoholic beverages or continue to smoke cigarettes and tobacco.

Doctors will prescribe you antibiotics for the treatment but the best natural pancreatitis treatment is to stop change your lifestyle. The sickness happens because you eat too much fatty foods, you probably spend your morning, lunch, and dinner, at fast foods which is not good. Second, you have to quit smoking if you are a smoker. This will not bring you any good. Third, do stop drinking alcoholic beverages because this is the main cause of chronic pancreatitis. If you want to be well, change your lifestyle the soonest.
