You actually don't have to be a professional bartender to be able to mix original drinks; you use in fact the right tools for this job. You will certainly find some of the tools mentioned here already in your house and hence can always improvise with everyday kitchen items. But if you are thinking to source an equipment bar, the first thing to remember is that tools should be easy to clean, and this is the reason why stainless steel and glass are specially suitable.

A shaker is necessary for your bar and is mostly used to mix drinks with ingredients that are hard to combine harmoniously, such as egg yolks, liqueur, fruit juice and cream. Good bar supply shop has a range of shakers and you have to be sure to get one that suits your budget and wants.

One of the basic models is a three-piece shaker, which consists of a glass, cover and fitted with a filter to keep the ice cubes and fruit pits or seeds when pouring the cocktail. The downside of the filter is that it is very hard to wash, and the liquid flows slowly. Two-piece Boston shaker is made up of a large glass in stainless steel and a smaller one made of lead crystal, which fits and has the positive value that the glass is also suitable for use in mixing.

The professionals tend to favour two-piece stainless steel cocktail shaker or silver for bar equipment because it is easier to close that Boston shaker. When using a two-piece shaker or mixing glass, you will need a round, stainless steel bars filter. This board has features such as spring rolls, and should fit exactly the top of the shaker or mixing glass, and is invaluable so the ice in cocktail, hard pieces of fruit or mines do not fall into the glass. If required, you can use the new filter tea instead.

You can use even a glass for each drink mix, stir, shake, such as drinks and light made from ingredients carefully and cautiously blended. When purchasing, a mixture of glass, find the one with a capacity of about 1 quart (enough for 3 or 4 drinks). A bar spoon with a long handle is a versatile equipment, used by bartenders to stir the ingredients in a mixing glass, viz., a scoop to add the exact amount of ingredients for more than one cocktails, and to crush the aromatic ingredients.

Majority bar-handled spoon is 10 inches long and designed of stainless steel or silver and at the top of the handle is mostly a disc called a mortar used to "fix" or crush parts, millet, herbs, or sugar cubes. Spoon on the opposite end has 6.1 oz of liquid, of the same amount of a standard kitchen teaspoon. The rounded back of the spoon is also useful to slowly add layers of liqueur in a glass when you do not want to mix the layers. A bar whisk is also crucial for whisking and mixing. All these are the usual Bar Equipment for a bar.
