The goal for these dinners is to make people conscious of the work being carried out by Freedoms Door and to raise funds for the continuing expansion and improvements to their non-profit organization.
In the springtime of 2011, the annual fundraising dinner raised many dollars needed! They would like to thank all their donors for the help at Freedoms Door in its fight to beat drug and alcoholism. The funds raised for programs as well as services that not just improve and help the lives of these people but it has huge rippling effects. Households and communities also are affected by the beneficial outcomes of drug rehabilitation.

Freedoms Door is in Kelowna offering Hope, Healing and Wholeness for Men with Addictions.
Freedoms Door is a non-profit registered society that uses the Twelve Step program and Christian principles to rehabilitate men struggling with alcoholism and drug addiction in the Okanagan Valley and Kelowna, BC region.
The Freedom's Door program gives men the strength and faith they must have to recover from their addictions and enables them to find a sound, fulfilling future as positive, contributing individuals of society. Throughout the program, participants live in one of the 4 safe, clean, motivating homes operated through Freedoms Door.
Their quest is to help recovering addicts discover freedom under God to grow in His likeness and image.
Addiction is not really a hopeless illness from which there is absolutely no recovery. Freedom's Door believe that the addict, any addict, can stop using drugs, lose the actual desire to use, and discover a completely new way to live.
