This is the season for your engagement. There are so many brides out there that are looking for a wedding dress for this summer or spring wedding. Do you have an idea about the wedding gown trends for the season? Let the experts share the details with you.

Black is now back

The wedding gowns that sported black touches have always been popular with the brides. For many of the senior members of the family, it may be elegant but less welcomed by them. The black fashion of today is significantly different from the black fashion of 2010 where specific black fabrics were applied. The black elements today are now used as embellishments, such as black gloves, black bow and black belts. The wedding gown colours of today are not as flamboyant as the colours of last year. The wedding colours this year include champagne, blush, coffee, grey; many of the wedding gowns today can still be found in either white or ivory.

Princess Style

One of the most popular styles this year is the princess wedding dresses. The short princess wedding gown and trumpet wedding gown are highlights of this year and season. Curvy and even slim brides should consider the trumpet gown which is very similar to a mermaid outfit. Brides who have nice legs should consider the short wedding gown which is most ideal for dancing in.

Neckline

The off-shoulder neckline for the bridal wedding gown is still very popular this year. The V-neck, one shoulder sweetheart is still popular amongst brides this season. The off-shoulder wedding gown is designed specifically for brides who have a beautifully shaped neck which looks elegant and classy.

Asymmetrical Designs

The asymmetrical designs of this year are beyond the gown restrictions of yesteryear. Not only do you have asymmetrical waistlines, but you also have asymmetrical necklines and shirts.

Tiers

For this season, we see that the winter tiers and skirts of last year have been maintained. Pick-ups and frills work well together to create a finish that looks beautiful on any bride.

Flowers

For this season, we noticed that the rosettes stand out quite well. With hundreds of different flowers mixing together creating a romantic wedding decked with decorative soft petals. The summer flowers of this year are typically exaggerated in size. Very large flower designs have become a new trend for the fashionable and romantic.

Back Design

The back designs are very interesting for this year. A back design that is unique can be somewhat impressive since the vast majority of guests are likely to be focused on the back of the bride during wedding day.
