For individuals that are a lot more than simple acquaintance of the groom and bride, they may choose to express any sentiments that they have in their own personal words inside a card that they sign and give to the newlywed couple after their wedding ceremony. What you choose to write in the card depends greatly on the relationship that you currently have with the couple.

A card that is easy to write

The primary reason why you are going to attend the wedding is to witness a celebration. You need not mention anything about people’s age and you should feel free enough to write about the joys that you’ve shared with the couple. When two people choose to start a life together, it can prove to be quite an adventure, so it’s always best practice to wish both parties the best for the future.

Wishing them the best

When you add your own personal words to a wedding card the couple will always appreciate it, especially the bride as she reads what you have written, word for word. Some things that you may want to wish them are love, happiness and luck, which are the basic ingredients to ensure that their new life is a happy one. You could also wish them a life that is made of promises and filled with sunshine, joy and prosperity. You could also consider wishing them a life together that is extraordinary, filed with laughter and adventure. Wishing them wealth is another nice gesture for the newlywed.

A poem that meets the occasion

Poets throughout the years have been able to express the types of things that you have been feeling, so looking through poems, searching for specific lines that you feel you can convey to the bride and groom is a good option. There are tons of different poets out there known for making poems on love, so you should have next to no difficulty finding the material to suit the occasion. If you feel that you have the skills and you feel confident enough about expressing it, then you may want to consider writing your own poem.

Say what’s on your mind

Sentiments that are heartfelt can be easily sensed through your written words, so writing down exactly what you feel is always an excellent idea. Don’t worry about how you sound when you write it, just focus on being able to effectively get your feelings across to the newlyweds on that special day of theirs that you will be sharing with them.
