Once you have chosen the wedding flowers and bouquet, it’s now time for you to decide on the flowers you want to use for the wedding reception. You will need to examine the numerous, guest, food and head tables, as well as the decorating accents in the room. However, flowers aren’t the only thing that you should use. There’s a fairly comprehensive choice of greenery that you can use in addition.

The first thing that you should understand is where the larger flower arrangements should and should not be positioned. Floral arrangements that are more elaborate should be used for cake and buffet tables, on stands that are positioned near staircases and entrances, and close to the DJ or band. These types of floral arrangements should be kept away from head or guest tables, because they will block the guests view because of their large size.

The centrepieces for the tables which are created from flower should be small and low. They should be in line with the colour theme of the wedding ceremony; however, they don’t all have to look the same. You could decide to use a variation of different flowers, all of which are in line with the colour theme of the wedding.

For guest tables, you should consider small bud vases. A good idea for the combination of table centrepieces and wedding favours would be to have small vases with a small single flower in each of them. After the wedding ceremony and reception has ended, the guests can take the vases home as a wedding favour.

If you are short on cash, and thus, unable to use larger floral arrangements, then you could consider choosing no more than three buffet tables and then using tree branches with rented palm or twinkling lights and balloon bouquets to decorate the rest of the hall or venue.

You may also want to consider bouquets that are edible for your table centrepieces, as they are very popular nowadays. Fruit baskets, spun sugar sculptures and small tiered wedding cakes serve both as wedding favours and decorations for tables.

As can be seen, it’s possible for you to incorporate many different bouquet ideals into the scheme of your wedding without having to spend large sums of money. Larger floral arrangements can be very beautiful to glance at, but they can also cost you a considerable amount of money. Examine some of the alternatives if you want to save your money.
