The fact that new suppliers' products undergo testing is a bonus for its clients and helps reduce the risk factor, particularly when hiring suppliers in other countries. The staff also offers a strong technical support system for its members. The only problem is that their listing does include a mix of middlemen and wholesalers. It is a bit difficult to determine which is which but if you do know your product and are aware of the actual market prices, it would probably be just a matter of determining which ones appear to be overpriced. Being new in the business at that time, the eBooks and software tools were also quite helpful; same with the online forums where more experienced sellers would sometimes share their knowledge.
All in all, I would say that the benefits do outweigh the costs, particularly if you are a newbie. It does reduce your risks, especially in terms of delivering good quality products; however, it does not guarantee the lowest prices. Given this, it is still essential that you do not pin all your hopes in Salehoo. You can, however, still trust it to give you a good insight into the industry.
