It goes without me having to say, that you must choose a product to promote that people are interested in buying. There’s no point promoting a product that most people wouldn’t except even if you offered it to them for free, much less for money. But of the many products available to you, how do you know which ones are worth your time?
There are a number of rules that you can use in order to stay ahead of things. They are a mystery, but they do work.
The first thing you want to do is go to ClickBank’s marketplace to search for products, each of the products in this area is given its own gravity score, the higher the gravity score, usually means the better the product. Products with high gravity scores have the highest demand and are selling the most.
Another thing that you should consider is the products refund rate. The refund rate determines the amount of people who ask for a refund. So a product that has a high refund rate, despite having a high gravity score is not a good product for you to promote. All those refunds will effort your overall commissions.
Another method that you can use to find products that are converting well is through Google’s keyword research tool. Type in the keyword of the product and look at the average searches for it, the higher the better, although it’s not a commonly used method, it does work.
Which products should we be on the lookout for?
I always say to people that they should have some interest in the product that they have an interest promoting. This is because you will be required to purchase the product and use it in order to write an accurate and thorough review on it.
You might as well purchase a product that would be of some use to you? It would be a pain for me to purchase a product on dating if I were married.
Since you are going to take some time out for you to purchase and use the product that you later intend to promote, you might as well choose a product that you’re interested in somewhat, at least for the first product that you promote. Once you are more familiar with these methods and are ready to branch out, you could probably start choosing products that you have little knowledge and interest in.
