When you are choosing the date for your wedding, there are so many factors that must be considered. Some may include meaningful or special days to the couple, whether the wedding will be undertaken outside or in, favourite seasons for the year, and the relatives and couples schedule. Because the date of the wedding will determine most aspects of the wedding planning, it’s very important that choosing the wedding date becomes the first priority of yours.

In many cases, couples will go for a wedding date that has some meaning to them. It could be the anniversary for their current relationship. It could be the birthday or a member that has already passed away, a way of honouring him or her. Or they could just want to get married on a memorable date. Many people like to get married on either holidays or birth dates. Although this probably seems like the most appealing option, I personally would give the future some serious thought. Because those days will be spend celebrating your anniversary. If you decided to get married on valentine’s day for example, then it would rob you of a romantic holiday each year for your whole life, because you will be celebrating two special events on one day.

The date has its own role to play when it comes to wedding date planning. For example, if the couple were to live in the Northeast, then having a wedding outside wouldn’t be feasible during the winter season. On the flip side, having a wedding in the fall or summer period would be most ideal for such a couple. One thing that you should have in your mind is that if you intend to marry during a peak season that you should begin the planning phase as early as possible. If all the churches and hotels are already booked before you are able to start planning, then it’s likely that you will have to change the date you had in mind or postpone everything. If you would like to save money on your wedding, then you should consider getting married during the off-season. You will be able to save on photography, flowers, and catering during this period.

The schedule of the couple and the couple’s family also plays a rule in the date they are to be married. Because planning a wedding takes a considerable amount of time, it’s not the greatest idea for you to plan it during a busy period for you and the family. Think about what you currently have on your plate and the people who you would like to be involved in the whole planning phase of the wedding.
