The Panduit wiring duct and PVC wiring duct are modern systems and innovative for managing wires where wires are arranged and covered up within the industrial control panel. Traditionally, against the wall, wires were mounted up with a minimum of wire retainers. Over time, the retainers would give way, allowing the wires to fall and become less organized. The situation in the control box would only continue to deteriorate if the wires were not regularly checked for these irregularities.

The wires cannot fall where they may but are routed and contained within a duct system with the PVC wiring duct system and the Panduit wiring duct. It makes the space more attractive and tidy because this system has a cover so that the wiring is visually discreetly hidden. The covers are hinged so that they will not readily fall off. Protection from grime, moisture, dust etc. has also been reduced increasing the life expectancy and reliability of the wires.

The installation of Panduit wiring duct and PVC wiring duct is easy. All required fittings and DIN rails are included with the package. Once installed, the wiring is lifted off the wall, allowing better accessibility to the components. Visibility of the components is enhanced so it is easier to recognize the different wires. Holes within the components allow for optimum distribution and organization of the wires. Reducing any future mistakes in wire identification because the wires are routed exactly as they should be.

An added benefit in installation is that the Panduit wiring duct system requires fifty percent fewer fasteners and holes. Available are three duct height sizes at two inches, three inches, and four inches. Installation instructions and diagrams can be found on the internet. The ability to have “less is more”, results in meaningful savings in materials, labor, and time required for the installation process.

This is a sturdy, durable system that has been tested to withstand about four pounds per foot. Lesser holes in the wall mean that the structural integrity of the wall has also been increased. This is especially true where such materials as dry wall and brick are concerned, where an anchoring system must also be incorporated.

The ducts are also available in a variety of colors, and free samples are sent out upon request. Corner strips and wire retainers are the accessories included. All printed and illustrated information about the products are available online for downloading.

Always keep in mind that when we talk about electrical wirings, safety is always the primary concern.
Author Resource:- Retrofitting has never been so easy and convenient. Panduit wiring duct optimizes the use of space. The wiring is mounted onto a space-saving PVC wiring duct system within the industrial control panel, leaving 30% of the available space unused. The panel box can be smaller consequently creating a savings of 25% in the cost of the enclosure.
