Walking down the street, some men look at their head of hair and realize that they are losing theirs. There are a number of reasons as to why this might be happening. Most men are not aware of the reasons. Here we can help you to understand hair loss for men and maybe you can see why this is happening.

One of the first things that can make a guy lose his hair would be some medical conditions. Things like a thyroid disorder or other things of that nature might be what is causing the hair to fall out. This is something that a guy might want to have checked out and even bring up with his doctor if he feels there is an issue.

Something else you might not think about which could explain this is if you had medical procedures done or if you are taking medications. This might explain this as well. Some who have had surgery have found that they have had trouble with hair loss. Some medications, when you read the side effects, there it is.

There is a reason they tell you that you should eat healthy. It is due to those healthy things that you eat that you have the hair that most men want. However, if you are not getting enough vitamins and minerals that are responsible for helping with keeping the hair healthy, then you will have issues with that. So, be sure to look at your diet as well.

Men might think that hormones do not have a part in this, well they are sadly mistaken. They do. If your hormones are not at balanced levels, this could account for why the hair is not growing; but rather you are losing it. Doctors will normally look into this. This is where the thyroid gland comes into play.

Chemicals are something else that many use. There are many things that these chemicals can do for men and women alike. However, what they do not understand is that many times, it is these chemicals that do harm to their heads and are the reasons that a woman or man might be losing his or her hair.

Of course, there are two other things which are the most common things that a person thinks about when they are looking at the reasons that their hair might be thinning or just plain old falling out. This has to do with genetics and old age. That might be hard to believe, but for many, it is just the facts of life.

For some though, they have a few things that all tie together to the bad luck that they seem to be having. Men should talk to their doctor about this to make sure there is nothing that they cannot do and to make sure that it is not due to some underlying cause. For some they have done this and have found that they had a medical condition that could have hurt them more had they not paid attention to the signs.
