Beauty does matter, especially to women. But by the time you've washed, dressed, ate, exercised, navigated your way through the traffic and eventually arrived at your work place, how many of you have found that make-up time just doesn't get a proper look in?

May be this is the reason why many opt for improving their beauty by less time consuming ways. That "less time consuming way" is obviously permanent makeup.

With permanent makeup, you'll never have to experience the morning rush to 'put on the face'. When attending a party, there's no need to rush home so that you can put on make up. Why? Because with permanent makeup you already have it on your face!

What is permanent cosmetic makeup?

During permanent makeup surgery, micro particles of natural pigments are injected into the dermis, the middle layer of the skin. Permanent makeup surgery is also called micro-pigmentation. This is considered a safe procedure.

Permanent cosmetic makeup is used for enhancing various features. It can be used to give a good shape to eyebrows, hide birth marks, enhance the eyes, outline the lip contour etc. You can even get your eye lined permanently or your lips permanently turned into your favorite shade.

There are many women sensitive to cosmetics. This type of makeup is an ideal solution for such people. However, even though it is used for those with facial blemishes or sensitivities, it is mainly due to its time-saving nature that permanent makeup has been widely used.

One of the disadvantages of this makeup is that it is permanent! Once you choose the shape of eyebrow or the color of lips, you cannot change it even if you wish to. So, only go for the procedure when you very sure about the way you want to look.

Just as any other surgery, this too is associated with a few risks.

One of the risks is in the possibility of contaminated instruments used for the surgery which may transmit an infection. Also, if an inexperienced person is doing your cosmetic surgery, there is a high risk of something going wrong. And remember! If something goes wrong it would be permanent. For example if the shape of your eyebrow goes wrong, then you'll have to retain that shape for a long time.

Moreover the colors used in this cosmetic surgery may be of poor quality. This in turn may be problematic to skin. Sometimes lips may be permanently discolored. So, it is always advisable to confirm the reputation of the surgeon before you get it done.

This makeup is done under general anesthesia. It is not recommended that it is done without anesthesia as you may feel quite uncomfortable.

The tattoos may initially appear brighter and darker but in a few days they become the normal desired color.

The cost of permanent makeup depends on the type of make up you are going for. It can range anywhere from $300 to $1000.

You can reduce the time you spend on make up by going for a permanent makeup surgery. But remember to get it done by an experienced professional to prevent some permanent mistakes.

Summary:

With permanent makeup, you'll never have to experience the morning rush to 'put on the face'. When attending a party, there's no need to rush home so that you can put on make up. Why? Because with permanent makeup you already have it on your face!
