The Scream series is back with the latest installement Scream 4. Wes Craven has directed the movie and Kevin Williamson has written it. The cast of the movie consists of David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella and Erik Knudsen. The cast who were fault the prior series includes Campbell, Arquette and Cox.
The film was allowed to be a trilogy but following the success from the 1st three part, Bob Weinstein went ahead using the fourth component. The shooting started on June 28, 2010 and wrapped up on September 24, 2010. The movie is releasing on April 15, 2011.
The Weinstein Organization officially announced in regards to the fourth part in July 2008. Wes Craven was delighted to direct the movie as he felt that the script is as excellent since the original script. Wes Craven also declared he was thrilled to work with Courtney, David and Neve a decade ago and he is excited to utilize them once more. He could be also excited to utilize the brand new cast. Wes also appreciated Kevin for that script compiled by him. He believes that the script is filled with thrills and chills and it is a lot more scarier as compared to another areas of the Scream series. Scream Series producer, Cathy Konrad, owner of Cat Entertainment Inc. had proper issues with the Winsteins regarding producing the 4th installment and blamed the Winsteins to chop her out based on false allegations.
Variety reported the return of Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox in September 2009. In an interview with the Entertainment Weekly, Craven put some light about the roles played by these three actors with the new cast. He also said how the characters Sid, Gale, and Dewey are a fundamental element of the series. Liev Schriber (played Cotton Weary) in the press conference asserted his character isn't part of the brand new installment. Kevin Williamson denied the return of Jamie Kennedy in an interview with FEAR.net.
Hayden Panettiere and Rory Culkin had been signed for that movie in May 2010. Fault Jill, Sidney's cousin, was originally wanted to Ashley Greene But down the road the role was given to Emma Roberts. Lake Bell was designed to take part in the role of a police well isn't Sidney from school days but he refused the supply just 4 days prior to the shooting with the film due to some conflicts using the dates. Nancy O'Dell returned to try out the part of the reporter played by her inside the second and also the third area of the Scream Series. Roger L. Jackson also came back to give voice to the character of Ghostface. Kate Kessler, mom of Roberts' character, was allowed to be played by Lauren Graham but she dropped out after few days. Keeping the tradition in the earlier parts, Craven playes a cameo role inside the movie and he asked his fan to select the role for him on his Twitter account. As per the Hollywood Reporter, that Anna Paquin and Kristen Bell are visible in a guest appearance inside the beinning od the movie. Shenae Grimes and Lucy Hale is likewise playing cameos in the film.
