The US and India today have such an understanding that they have printed a rule book for the youngsters born in India and seeking US citizenship. On the other hand countries like Japan and Netherlands have imposed a ban on surrogacy calling it renting of the womb. In Australia arranging surrogacy could be a criminal offence, whereas altruistic surrogacy will be done but business surrogacy continues to be illegal. The same goes for Canada where altruistic surrogacy is legal and business was created illegal once 2004. France was one in every of the first few countries to create it legal in 1994; it had created surrogacy legal keeping in mind the gains that might follow it. While, Israel was the first country to possess state controlled surrogacy that will overlook the surrogacy practices personally by the government. Saudi Arabia faces some problems due to religious authorities who do not allow such practice. Ukraine made surrogacy legal around the same time India did, while UK still deems commercial surrogacy a crime. There have been ways that found around that law, keeping in mind that stance of these countries it makes one assume what led some to legalize it and others to illegal it. The ethical problems stay doubtful as a result of it solves more problems then it creates.
