This diet, the Ice Cream Diet, is a strategy that says you can shed the weight without giving up something like ice cream every day. Imagine that. Of course we're skeptical about this because we all know ice cream is probably the first thing given up during a diet. We really were interested to discover what was behind this crazy idea about losing weight and eating ice cream. So that's what we did.

This approach called the Ice Cream Diet is yet another diet that claims you can eat the foods you love while losing the excess weight. You will need to be mindful of the calories you eat each day, and that is no different from other diets.

You'll be able to eat some ice cream each day, if you want, but then you'll have to curtail your calories throughout the rest of the day. Another part of the Ice Cream Diet strategy is frequent exercise, but that's really highly recommended no matter what diet you follow. This can be helpful for many people, as it allows you to have a treat every day. If you are trying to restrict your calories while eating nothing that pleases you, it can be hard to stick to your diet. So one benefit of the Ice Cream Diet is that it's easier to follow than many other diets.

They take advantage of human nature and psychology in this diet. When you restrict yourself from something in particular, there's an unusual feeling of wanting it even moreso than before. Obviously this is what's happening when people diet, and they end up with feelings of deprivation. Once people reach a weight loss goal, then they will almost always go back to eating those very foods they were not allowing themselves to eat. So the approach with the Ice Cream Diet is that the feeling of deprivation is much less, and overall it's much better knowing you can eat a little ice cream each day. This way we are not depriving ourselves and are less inclined to abandon the diet and binge.

Testimonials in support of the Ice Cream Diet are need to show that the diet really works. In reality this is a new diet, and there are quite a few people who claim to have lost weight while using it. However, it must be admitted that it's too soon to say for certain that the Ice Cream Diet is as effective as its advocates claim. You will have to see for yourself to see if this diet really works.

You'll need to take positive action every day, but the Ice Cream Diet is a unique approach that most certainly will work, if you do. Also, should you decide to "cheat" on the amount of daily ice cream, then don't be surprised if you gain weight or don't lose it. The attraction of this diet is the daily ice cream breaks things up, gives you a little something each day, and you won't feel like you're in boot camp, or wherever.
