A huge collection of products are available in market for curing acne but most of them make use of chemicals. Making use of chemicals can make your skin clear temporarily but it is not a permanent solution as we have never taken time to think about the side effects associated with it. The article described here insight into a natural way of solving the acne problem.

Plugging of the pores of the skin is the primary reason for acne. This plugging is caused due to excessive hormonal changes that occur to the young adults and teens during their puberty. It is better to treat this acne, otherwise this causes inferiority complex among the teens. After the pore is plugged, bacteria can develop in the plugged pore and causes an infection. Development of bacteria in the plugged pore can be the cause of pimples or cysts. Cysts are more infectious than the pimples, since they grow deeper in the skin causing scars to occur.

Natural treatment for acne includes cleansers, facial scrubs and masks. Facial steam treatment and clay mask treatment are also available as natural treatment for acne.

I will provide some simple natural alternatives to many over-the-counter products you may use on your face every single day.

Baking soda - When applied topically to the skin, baking soda works as an outstanding (and cheap!) cleanse. Exfoliating the skin using a gentle scrub helps prevent dead skin cells from blockage pores and causing acne breakouts; exfoliation will also help to heal marks left behind by previous acne.

To use baking soda as a scrub, start by making a paste using baking soda and water. Very gently apply the paste to your face, and, once again, very gently massage it around your skin using only light pressure with the tips of your fingers. You don't want to over-exfoliate your skin, as this will irritate it and lead to more acne. After 10 or 15 seconds of massaging the paste onto your skin, rinse it off by splashing your face with warm water - pat dry.

Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) - B5 is commonly supplemented in large doses to reduce oil production on the surface of the skin to reduce acne. It actually works in a method much like that of Accutane, though with no significant side-effects.

Aloe Vera - A common household remedy to relieve the pain of burns, aloe vera gel can help prevent acne spots from scarring, help them to heal faster, and help with red marks left behind by acne.

This sums up our basic list of natural alternatives for chemical based acne treatment products. You can take this a step farther by attacking your acne from the inside out. Acne has been shown numerous times to be very closely affected by the digestive system, so keeping your entire digestive system working as smooth as possible can help reduce acne.
