For many individuals to have a system managing life and death within the hands of incorporated businesses, appears grotesque and scary. The grotesque part is that individuals are getting exploit matters of life and death. The scary part is that a greedy organization might kill people for profit, by not paying for treatments. Another scary half is that when you may would like healthcare the most, as when you cannot work as a result of of sick health, that's when you do not have a health insurance. Besides it isn't only regarding yourself and your family it's regarding the health of the society. There are far more to life then yourself, and when other people suffer, so will you. Should not citizen's health be more vital than the concept that some people should earn money by squeezing sick people out of treatment options?
Somehow the Americans have lived with this system and in line with the polls, at least 40% of the population don't find it disturbing in the slightest degree, however wish to continue having a privatized health system. I'm not certain why, but when being attentive to the politicians their argument is that while not a privatized system you cannot opt for your own set up or your most well-liked hospital and doctor; which means the standard of the treatment is better.
Are the treatment and the standard during a privatized health care higher?
I feel this is often difficult to answer as a result of it depends on the folks creating the healthcare system and what they realize important. The first measurement should be if there is a healthcare system for everybody, and it seems that the privatized system fails at its foundations. I've got lived beneath each systems and I've got noticed that under a universal healthcare system that nurses and doctors would possibly become lazy and maybe arrogant toward the patients. But I don't assume this is often an issue connected to the universal health system, but the regulation of accepted behavior and the right to complain.
Another issue is the lines for bound treatments. But, I don't believe is connected to the universal health system either, it's additional a difficulty connected to little countries with few surgeons and experience in sure health issues. For tiny countries this is often one thing which may and are solved - by sending patients abroad to neighbor countries.
In countries that have based their healthcare on a universal health care system, there are options for a personal clinic for those that need to acquire themselves and do not wish to wait in line or for the appointment. It is not either universal healthcare or personal healthcare, it's both.
