You're the only one.
You're the only one who can love your husband and kids the approach they most want to be loved, because they deeply need to be loved by you. You're the only one which will meet their needs in an exceedingly specific, nurturing, you're their mom (wife) kind of way. You're the only one that burns their banana bread simply the manner they like it. Your snuggle is just cuddly enough and your arms are those they want wrapped around them when it's all said and done.
Not solely are you the sole one, you're the one God selected for the job. And funny enough, you handpicked it.
Back within the dreamy days, you recognize before the reality of the wedding commitment sunk in and before I had to sleep with one eye open and one to a few children within the bed with us, I emphatically said my husband was the sole one for me. I wrote sappy poems about it, rehearsed it in my mind, and even told his folks it'd be therefore, even before he had realized it for himself.
The half that I have had to chew on since hearing of this idea from my friend, is that I was truly that only one for someone else. You know - that deeply cherished sort of thing. The thought is hard for several girls to believe regarding themselves (myself included), it's something I've got dismissed for years as untrue. I thought being cherished and cherishing your loved ones in that means was type of fairytale, something you scan in a very book, however wasn't actual. Those relationships do not extremely exist.
God's word clearly shows proof otherwise. The verses that almost all awaken this truth on behalf of me are found in Proverbs thirty one:10-eleven and thirty one:27-28. Verse 10 sets the stage.
"Who will notice a virtuous lady? For her value is far higher than rubies."
To be anywhere near virtuous on behalf of me may be a thrill, not to say a deep longing desire God planted in my heart as a child. It's more than pretty dresses, perfect ringlets, and tea parties - though I attempted that out for a few years not thus long ago. It is valued by the folks that matter most to you this facet of heaven so greatly that King Lemuel's mom spent 21 verses outlining it.
You are the only one.
(eleven) "The guts of her husband will safely trust in her, thus that he shall don't have any lack of gain."
This verse has given me a foreign finish line to run for as it is the reason of what I desire to be for my husband, a trustworthy and constant companion who protects my husband's reputation, who nurtures his desires (the physical ones too), and who meets the wants deepest to his heart for himself, his family, and his home.
Proverbs thirty one:twenty seven-twenty eight echoes the idea. "She looks well to the ways in which of her household, and eats not the bread of idleness. (28) Her kids arise up, and decision her blessed; her husband additionally, and he praises her."
Doesn't that speak to the very heart of our desires? To be the type of girl whose family deeply trusts her to care for them, and they love her for it.
You are the sole one. I am the sole one.
