Asia plays a massive half in outsourcing, significantly the Republic of the Philippines. Filipinos are as skilled, if not more, as their Yankee or European counterparts but labor costs are considerably less. As proof, the decision center trade within the country is constantly growing, and it's growing fast. The number of call center firms in Manila alone has reached over a hundred, with many additional in line.
Here are a number of reasons why Philippines is the country of selection for international corporations trying to outsource.
1. Filipinos are friendly and service-oriented by nature. "Hospitable" could be a word commonly attributed to Filipinos. They treat guests the manner visitors should be treated: with utmost respect and care for his or her well-being. This trait is carried over to their work, that is why Filipinos are excellent for jobs requiring client interaction.
2. English is Philippines second language. Filipinos are taught English at a very young age. After all, it's half of each primary, secondary, and school curriculum. Almost all Filipinos perceive basic English. It is widely used in television, radio, and print mediums, making Filipinos adept at conversing with Americans and other English-speaking nationalities. A common drawback with call centers is customers and purchasers that are not comfortable with outsourced service. They believe that a person living far will not possibly understand or help them with their current situation. Filipinos eliminate this problem as a result of they are doing not have an simply recognizable accent, unlike Indians and Chinese.
3. Filipinos are knowledgeable in Yank culture. Yankee TV shows and flicks are big in the Philippines. Younger Filipinos love taking note of Yank artists, and they're up to date with the newest trends in technology and fashion around the world. In brief, Filipinos are adopting American culture as their own. This knowledge helps bring down communication and culture barriers between them and therefore the western world, making Filipinos easier and a lot of pleasurable to figure with.
4. State-of-the-art facilities. The Philippines is home to a number of Asia's best business and technology hubs. Eastwood's City Cyberpark, Fort Bonifacio's E-Sq. IT Park, and Alabang's Northgate Cyberzone are just some business center of note. A lot of are underway as the demand is gaining on the country's supply.
5. The Philippine economy is rapidly growing. There's not a better time to outsource to the Philippines than now. The government is actively encouraging corporations to take a position in the Philippines, so The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) was born. PEZA established special economic zones and grants fiscal and non-fiscal incentives to market economic growth.
