I think in the folks of this country. However, politicians on the opposite hand, are an entire different story. We tend to send them to D.C. to try to to our bidding but, once there they get taken over by the "dark side". Many never return from there. They're going to severe and the sole one they serve is there own selfish desires. If they are the party in charge they what to determine how many committees they will get on as a result of, that is where the power is. But, if they're on the losing party aspect all of a sudden they become meek. All they wish is to "get along". that's a sellout to their party and their beliefs, if they each had any.
If the parties in Washington are thus dangerous, why not dump them and keep company with a third party? The simplest answer is because they CAN'T win. Not will not however can't. You see, our Founding Fathers set up the Constitution so that if a candidate doesn't receive enough votes(270) from the Electoral College, then the House of Representatives gets to vote for the President. Since we have a tendency to solely have concerning three independents and they're not from the identical party, who do you're thinking that the majority of them are visiting vote for.
