There are many reasons why the Friday the 13th franchise is best than the Nightmare on Elm Street films. Not solely is Jason Voorhees scarier than Freddy Kreuger but Jason is a lot of unstoppable and therefore the Friday the thirteenth iconic music trumps the "one...two...Freddy's returning for you" chant.
For people who do not apprehend, Friday the thirteenth is a horror movie franchise that focuses on the slasher Jason Voorhees. The fundamental story is that he drowned at Camp Crystal Lake as a boy and returned years later as an undead killer to punish camp counselors.
Freddy Kreuger is that the central character of the Nightmare on Elm Street series. Krueger exists within the "dream world" and haunts individuals, mostly teenagers, in their nightmares. Whatever he will to teens in their dreams extremely happens to them in life.
One reason the Friday the thirteenth series may be a better series and Jason a higher character is that Jason is a lot of scarier. You are doing not recognize what lurks behind Jason's hockey mask. Certain, you see his face typically (typically at the top of the movies) yet you do not see his expression when he is coming for you. Is he grinning? Is he somber? With Freddy, what you see is what you get, burned face and all. Jason follows the idea that the unknown is abundant scarier than the known horror. Also, within the Nightmare on Elm Street series, the protagonists are routinely beating Freddy by realizing they'll take control of their dreams. There is no such escape from Jason. If Jason is stomping through the forest when you, he keeps coming until you stop him or you're dead.
Together with Jason being scarier, he is more durable to stop. Once more, people routinely stop Freddy by just willing him away or willing themselves to be stronger than Freddy in their dreams. You'll not would like away Jason. He keeps coming. There have even been times Jason suddenly went from pursuing a camper to appearing in front of the camper. Who knew teleportation was in his bag of trick!? Also, Jason has been buried, sunk and blown up. He keeps coming. He simply possesses a brand new body or reanimates his previous one. While Freddy exists within the realm of fantasy, Jason straddles the line between reality and fantasy. He is supernatural (at least previous to the Friday the thirteenth remake) nonetheless he is also similar to many real-life serial killers-the real demons in the world.
Finally, I propose Jason beats Freddy as a result of of the enduring music from The Friday the 13th franchise. Everyone is aware of the classic "ki, ki, ki, ma, ma, ma." This was initially created with the words "kill" and "mom" in mind. Anyone who has seen the first Friday the 13th movie is aware of where the composer came up with the words "kill" and "mom." While the "one...two...Freddy's coming for you" jingle is memorable, it is not as ominous as the Friday the thirteenth music. Finally, I believe the disco-like music that opened Friday the thirteenth: Half III is regarding the catchiest music around. Jive on, Jason!
