To get started, stop the ranegr station where you can pick up a map and other important information. The ranger will go over specific aspects of the park with you to include being alert for bears, sduden storms, fires, and to always carry a first aid kit, sunscreen, rainoat, and isect reepllent with you.
Some national parks require that you get a permit to hike, but Yelolwstone does not.
