This item provides you a number of ways to stop your husky from biting. The following instructions are genuine methods that real husky owners have used to prevent their husky from biting. Before we get started on using these methods, make certain you take into account the reality that your husky has its own unique temperament and disposition.

The Disposition of Your Husky
It is usually noted by husky owners that aggression is not a common issue with their dogs. It is not the norm for a husky to show aggression towards people. If they are aggressive, there's a chance that this behavior could have been learned from another breed of dog.

Husky biting is more liable to be what is considered ‘play biting’ or ‘nipping’. Just because your husky is only playing in their mind, it doesn’t mean they can’t cause serious injury to people or other dogs. If you need to stop husky biting it is best to train your husky out of this habit while still a young puppy.

Use of Commands and Body Language
Should your husky nip or bite you or anybody else you must be sure that your husky is aware it has done wrong. Your voice is an extremely effective tool in putting an end to husky biting. Try stating 'No' in a very firm tone directly at your husky making sure you have his full attention. Along with this verbal communication, turn away from your husky as if you are disappointed. Hopefully your husky will realize the error of their ways and gently approach you. Once your husky stops biting and complies with your command heap praise onto your husky to reinforce the good behavior.

The Alligator Technique
Many owners of huskies swear by this system to stop your husky biting. If your husky bites or nips you, gently close up their mouth with your hands. Use your other hand to hold their body still. Hold their mouth shut while ensuring that the husky is able to breathe through their nose. If you aren't holding your huskies body securely enough their is every chance that you will get scratched. When their mouth is shut give a firm verbal command of ‘don’t bite’ or ‘NO’. Eventually your husky will relax and at this time release your husky and give praise. Your husky may initially think that you are play fighting so continue using this method until they understand what is happening. If your husky is simply too large and is struggling against you this method may not be appropriate.

The Forearm Technique
If your husky is attempting to bite your arms or hands, push a forearm into their mouth Make sure your forearm is heavily protected by a old towel or thick sleeve to prevent injury and to stop your husky biting down on you. This is quite uncomfortable for your husky and eventually it'll deter him from biting.

Getting to the Source of the Husky Biting Problem
If you discover that these three techniques are not helpful in stopping your husky biting their will likely be an underlying reason behind it. Separation anxiety is one common cause of husky biting in addition to digging and chewing. It would pay to look a bit deeper into why your husky has developed this behavior. Start looking for other ways to stop husky biting if none of these techniques work. In no way should you physically hurt your husky.
