Much research has been done on the impact it has on our health.

According to research more people's food intake is quite low in omega oil. The role these oils play in our health is important.

It has been suggested that it can play a role in preventing or lessening the chances for cancer (in particular breast, colon and prostate cancer). It must be warned that taking in too many can have negative health effects.

There are mainly three types: Omega 3, Omega 6 and Omega 9.
Omega 3: It has a well deserved status of being extremely key for health. Omega 3 has been tied to concentration, and many parents gave their kids fish oil every day. Even though the taste was horrible, the effect it has is undeniable. Luckily, we have capsules today, making it convenient to add it to our eating habits. Fish is not the only good source of omega 3. It can also be found in flax seed oil.
Omega 6: It has been shown to play a big function in healthy skin, nail and bones. Contemporary diets are not very rich in omega 6 oils, mostly because processing of food can damage it. It is a good plan to have omega 6 as part of our supplements.
Omega 9: It oil has been linked to the prevention of health conditions like heart attacks and strokes. Olives are a great source of omega 9 oils, but it can also be found in a good number of supplements.

The value of omega oils for our health has been recognized for years. Latest study does show that our current diets usually do not contain enough essential oils. Most foods are processed today, and this process can ruin many of these essential oils. One good alternative is to alter our diets to add more natural foods that have omega oils like fish, flax seed and olives. Another alternative is simply to get a good supplement. Please be advised to seek advice from a expert before buying expensive supplements. Some are better than others. Just adding some omega oils to our diets can really improve our health and well-being. A lot of supplements are obtainable, but just make sure you make use of highly regarded firms when getting these supplements.
