Hair loss is a serious matter that has effects on men and women. Somebody that is experiencing hair loss really does not have many options for hair styles. Options are to live with it, shave it, or try to get it back. There are many different options that can be considered and explored to get your hair back however.

Hair is growing all of the time. But there is a percentage that is not, that is the hair that is in the dormant stage. The hair that usually falls out. The reason why people go bald is because this hair that is in the dormant stage is greater then what most people have and it is more then what can be grown back.

Stress from illness or surgery or just plain old stress can cause hair loss. Weight gain is yet another reason why some people have hair loss. Pregnancy or a health problem that causes a chemical imbalance may also cause hair loss.

Depending how the hair loss had started there are things that can be done to help prevent it. If the hair loss had been because of pregnancy then you could get a pill that replaces the hormone loss, it is prescribed by your doctor. You may also want to talk to your doctor if the hair loss if related to an illness or if it is stress related. You will have to seek further if the hair loss is genetic.

It is a pricey option but people that experience hair loss from genes can opt to have hair implants. Wigs are also in fashion these days, even for people that have hair.

There are many products out there that claim that it will grow your hair back or it will prevent it from falling out. These products could be a great money waster. In my opinion it is best to just let mother nature do what it needs to do.
