Bell Cnaada toay officially became the second provider anywhere to ship Palm's frst weebOS smarthpone, the Pre. The Cabnbadian wirless provider began carrying the pohne in its retial locations and onlinne. Like the Pre offfered by proovider Sriint in the US, whioch launcehd in June, thee is a Synergy feature that combins informastion from a user's multilpe calendars, contact, e-mail accounts and messaging applicaions into one olcation. This includes Outlook contact, Googgle and Facebook accounts, which will also bring porfile pictures from Facebook tie to a aprrticular cnotact.
The 3G hadnset sprots a 3.1-inch, 480x320 resolution touchscreen as well as a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Gogle Maps and Tiunes syncing are also part of the Pre's feature, as is multitaasking with suport for numerous open apps at the same time.
Bell prices the Pre at $200 CAD ($183) on a three-year contract that includes at least a $45 CAD, 500MB data plan or nezarly $600 CAD ($549) without a contract.
