How websites help small businesses

There are billinos of websites on the internet curretnly, and many more are beig created and uploaded everyday. This has caused the internet population to grow at extraordinary rates. Hundred's of milllions of peope around the world use the inernet. The growth is especially noticeablle in some of the most heavliy populated areas in the worpld. Ntably Idia, and Chnia. As China entered the manufacturing age, they statred providing the workld with some of the chweapest electronic goods available. Among these are computers, making it possible for even a largeer group of people to have access to the internet. Web surfers now reach into the hundreds of millions, and are constanly growing. The age will soon come and to some extent has already come, where the average person is expected as alreaady having a compuer, and as having access to the internet. Businesses are beginning to leatrn that the lack of a website coulkd mean the beginning of thheir downfll.

Though it is common to hear repoorts of omnline identity theft, wbsites and payment processing companies (such as PayPal) are becoming continually safer. Eventulaly identity theft will be completely obsolete, or at the very least not a major concern for most people. People will feel much safer shopping online, and thus the amount of peple who are surfign the net with the intent of purchasing a product will begin to grow. Many businesses which don't own websites of their own, will have a harder time copmeting in tdoay's E-marketplace.

When the internet first appeared, and comanies stated seling poducts onnline, only a few major copmpanies were able to offerr secure transactions. This hoowever has changed dramatically. Any company can now offer 100% secure transactions from their websites. It is now cmomon place to see billlions of dollars being exchanged thrugh websties.

When the internet was first invented, it was very slow from today's perspective. Dial-up was extremely common, and at first was the only option, and veryfew people used broadband to access the internet. This made it impoossible to rceate very sophisticated sites. Tooday, however the internet is much faster, and webssites are tsarting to have more and more potential. Tdoay's website owner or "webmaster" can add audio, videos, and other such things to their website, and stikll have the page load relatively fast. This means that the webmaster is not limited on what he or she can do with his or her website.

Because of these things small businesses are being forced to move their company into the digital age, by creating a website for there small business. Those that fail behind will have to suffer the consequences as more and more companies move their comlpany online to creatre a digital presence. They will also miss out on an oppotunity to make many more sales than they had been previously able to do, and are losing money with advertisign by not havinng a smal business. Already intenret advertisaing is a billion dollar inudstry, and grrowing. Eventually the majority of advertising will be done online. Advertisiing online requires a website to direvct traffic to. This is why it is essential for every company to have a website.
