There has been a lot of talk in the south for the most part that a woman should not work. The hypothesis is that the Bible states a woman shall not work. This is not found anyplace in the Bible nonetheless. In fact we stumble on in proverbs 31 passage thirteen the opposite. The Bible says that a woman seeks out wool and flax to work with. Later in the same chapter she is said to be a seller of her garments. That sounds like she is a moneymaker to me.

Of course in today’s modern planet a woman normally does not seek out wool and flax to make things by hand. How could a proverbs 31 woman do what she is said to do in the Bible? Today may be a little bit different in some ways but in truth it is still very much the same. Women may still find things to do.

I require you to notice that in this verse of proverbs we find the virtuous woman is searching these items. That should tell us anything in itself. It shows that a virtuous woman is not content to let her husband provide everything for her. Instead she has a desire to provide as well. While the ego of the spouse can be bruised if she makes more money than him they could still enjoy the money together.

A mans ego does not need to be hurt on the other hand. His task may incorporate less but it does not make him less of a man. He is still doing his finest to provide. It may simply be that while he is working challenging in a dry field his proverbs 31 wife could have just found an oasis to glean from. There is no need to be hurt by her success. Instead both spouses should praise the other for their willingness to provide.

So how does a proverbs 31 woman seek wool and flax in today’s world? It does not have to just be only wool and flax. What she is really seeking for is work. So if you want to be a proverbs 31 woman find a way to work.

This does come with a warning however. Cause numerous people get so caught up in their jobs the family is left behind. The proverbs 31 woman would never let that happen. Her duty must balance out with her family life. She must find a way to work that will be flexible enough to give her time to spend with her companion and kids.

Because of that a part time task seems to be the finest answer for a proverbs 31 woman. It does not cause her to neglect her house. She could also gain income through the work. This seems like the greatest way to balance things out. This is why you will find many proverbs 31 women in the line of work doing Avon and other such ventures.

So we see now that a proverbs 31 woman is not merely going to take care of her home but she is free to have a job as well in the marketplace. As long as her kids and husband still see her then she is doing well. Women, if your spouse does not require you to work you must obey him. If he does not feel this way then the proverbs 31 woman will seek out a responsibility to do.
