Anyone who has ever studied end time prophecy could tell you that it is awfully worthwhile. It can positively get your blood going. The study of Revelation is habitually what people go to when attempting to do Bible studies on end times. The book of Daniel is also of enormous significance to Bible students.

With that said there is a solitary trouble that end times prophecy brings. There are so many disputations about the interpretation of scripture. It would appear that no one could agree on what the Bible states about key areas of prophecy. One such region is the time of something known as a rapture of the christian church.

This is a great trouble since it causes so many people to be confused as to what scripture says. Doing a Bible study on Revelation could be difficult if you are attempting to do your study with the assist of a commentary or some other book. I could declare that since after numerous years of study I have found scriptural flaws in most of the teachings accessible.

Since of that there is just one real way to get the certainty about what the Bible and the book of Revelation states about end time. You have to throw out everything you have been taught about the books of Revelation and Daniel. After that you have to read them very cautiously trying to take in everything in context.

The very first thing you are going to require to do when studying the books of Revelation and Daniel is to establish a timeline. This is most easily done by reading the first eleven chapters of Revelation. That is because it goes in sequential order mainly. Take consideration that you do not strive to apply any teachings to what the scripture is saying. Let the scripture give it’s own interpretation of itself.

By throwing out what you can already believe about the rapture or timeline you may find out what the Bible in fact states. Remember that men are flawed and even though numerous people could be teaching one thing it doesn’t mean it is true.

For instance the fourth chapter of Revelation is often disputed in regards to the timeline of the rapture. Cause in this chapter John is told to come up to heaven and see the events of the future some have said that this is when God calls the christian church up. However there is not anything said in the book that would point to this is anything other than God calling John himself up. Remember that you should never try to make scripture declare anything that it doesn’t.

As you may see this is the main problem with problemstimes Bible studies. If you already have an established concept as to what something means it can damage how you read the scripture. This is cause even when scripture does not interpret itself in the way you could have been taught you can try to make it say something it does not. A study on Revelation and problemstimes Bible prophecy must be made with care that you do not try to fit scripture into what you have been taught but rather let yourself be taught by the Bible.
