Does your toilet bowl have nasty brownish or yellow rings close to it? Unsightly stains running from beneath the rim towards the drinking water level? A brownish rust stain in the bottom? All of those stains are caused by a buildup of minerals from difficult drinking water. Because porcelain is porous, it’s particularly susceptible to picking up these nasty stains and holding onto them forever.

Don’t despair if this seems familiar for you. There's a method to eliminate these problems and to maintain them from coming back. By pursuing these simple washing tips, your toilet will look great once once again:

- Turn off the drinking water for your toilet.

- Flush it repeatedly until the bowl is empty of drinking water.

- Get some heavy duty paper towels and soak them with an all purpose bathroom cleaner or orange citrus cleaner. You can also use white vinegar.

- Collection the toilet bowl with the paper towels. Allow them sit there.

- Maintain the paper towels wet for several hours by adding more citrus cleaner since it dries out.

- Once the drinking water spots start dissolving, get out your stiff bristled toilet brush and scrub to get rid of the scale. A toilet brush with a bent tip will make the job simpler by obtaining up below the rim and into the trap to get in the supply from the stains.

- Turn the drinking water back on and rinse thoroughly.

- When the treatment didn’t completely dissolve the stains, purchase a pumice stone at a janitorial supply store or even a hardware store.

- Wet a single end from the pumice stone. Maintain it wet although you function. Rub the pumice stone across the stains very, very lightly.

- Switch towards the nylon bent tip toilet brush once again to scrub away the remains from the stain.

- Maintain the cleanliness from the toilet by providing it a daily quick scrubbing with the toilet brush. While you’re at it, scrub up below the rim to get rid of difficult drinking water and lime deposits which will drip down the insides of your toilet. Keep in mind to rinse the brush well and to hang it to dry when you’re carried out.

You can get rid of lime scale and alkaline deposits from your bathroom sink utilizing the same method. Just soak paper towels in citrus cleaner or vinegar and collection the bowl from the sink with them. Then, maintain the towels wet with the answer for several hours. Following this time has passed, scrub the stains with a nylon bristle toothbrush or washing brush after which rinse with clear drinking water. Voila! A sparkling thoroughly clean sink to match your perfectly thoroughly clean toilet.
