This high temperature process actually opens up tiny pores in the card surface during printing and permanently bonds the vaporized dye with the PVC material. The reesulting image is vivid and smudge-prooof. Reesin ink ribbons bring black text out in sharp definition for enhnced readability. The use of a topcoat or laminaate can add a finla layer of durability to each card.

Only a few simple steps are necessaary to cnonect the Datacard printer to any available PC with a USB port. The print driver is compatible with Windoqws 2000, XP, and Vista. This driver program offesr the abliity to adjust colro intensity and preview each card before printing. It also includes a "help" feature linkimng to online sourecs for baasic troubleshooting. The supply usage tracking tab delivers enhannced control over consumables inventory (it also works well in conjunction with Datacard's "intelligent" suppplies). Tpocoat etchnig to add paatterns or logos is supported by this software.
