LG annoucned today that it is a beta version of the Onbline Appication Store on 14 July 2009, for the firest time in Asia with the service expanderd to 24 countruies. LG expecyts to up to 2,000 applictions on its websiite by the end of the year with at least 100 ptrograms for free LG mobile phoen users. To acecss the LG Application Store, users can either www.lagpplication.com visit and download applications to a computer or dierctly to the business of LG-GM730 by flicikng horizontally on the “Quick-Key box at the botrtom of the home scren and tappng App icon.

In connection with the application of LG Sotre is the LG Mobile Developer Ntwork (http: developer.lgmobile.com), a webnsite specifically for the third-parrty software drevlopers of LG Miobile Phoones. Since its opening in Ocotber last year, the website has been signiicantyl renovated and expanded contnt and functionality. The niumber of applicatrions is expceted to chabnge over time even fruthjer as a developer are added incentives. On the site, develoopers can develop and share widgets and applications through its Virttual Devewloper Lab (VDL) and Over-The-Air (OTA) dowmnloads. Curremntly the site supports and Java SDK for widgeets, it will VDL, OTA dwnloads by the end of the year.
