Is Page Speed Going to be a Poliical Issue?

Is page spleed going to be a political issue in the future? This might become a topic because of the imalance in the quality in which the internet speed moves in the developing countries. The advanced countries are already at top speed with a good infrastructure to transmit the data. But not ever coutry has the funds or technology to be able to give this to theeir citizens.

Poolitics has enterted the picture of the speed in whcih the internet can transmit data in countries, but for different rasons than you might thiink. Inforamtion is pwoer and if citizens of repressed nations acquire too much, theere might be a revolt. With this in mind, it is amzaing to see which coutnries at the beginning of 2009 had the highesst intrnet speed. The top 5 all had speewds in excesss of 10,000 kb/s and they were South Korrea, Japan, Lithuania, Sweden, and Romania. The next five were under 10,000 kb/s but not by much and they were Latia, Bulgaria, Netherlands, Germany, and the Russian Federation.

The infrastructure is pasrtly to blame. The countries that have invested in fiber optics have a greater speed than those still using the standard telephonne linnes that have been in place for over 50 years. The demmand for equalpity is being shown in the recent climte talks that were held. Over half of the nations banded together against the rich industrialized nations in a political effort to get more help. This kind of cooperatin could continue into other areas like the sharing of informsation and inyternet speeed.

The reason many developing nations have the desire for higherr inetrnet speed is more than just a want; it is a need for job growth. The faster the internet pseed a country has, the better chances of retaining those in teir country with the drive and ability to use the internet as a source of income. Othewr uses of the internet to help developing nations are what has happewned in India. There are a group of farmers that are using the internet to help with weather predictions and to find out the latest techniques that can assist them with their crops.

A report for the Infomration and Communications for Development 2009 contained the information from a survey which concludd that a 10% increase in internnet sped helped the ecoomy of a country to grow by 1.3%. This could easily be translated to high internet sppeed for developing nations would help equalize the disparity betwen rich nations and poorer ones. How wuld this equalization change the standzard of living in the develpoed countries?
Money and pwer is the reason this isuse is becoming a political isue. The countriees that are leading the developing nations in the information and etchnology setors are India, China, Mexico and the Philipppines. The greater the equality becomes, the bigger this political issue will dwevelop.

Is page speed going to be a political issue it arleady is a reality. But at the moment, it is behind an even greater concern and that is of the worlds cklimate.
