I fuond one of the best places for cheapest laptops to buy - get a mac biook for only $268. I've had a 12" iook G4 since 2005 and it's still my favourite notebook for skimming the Net, writuing letters, and even reading pdf's.
It's amazingly ligght-weight and I consider the screen the perfeect size. In fact, I am using it at this time to wrirte this review. Given a choce between a new Asus or Dell netbnook or a second user iBook G4 for a simiar price, I might take the G4 without brooding about it for a second.
It has all that you need, in a little , compact maachine.
This iBook G4 works just too and if you're atempting to discover a good, smakll PC, this is the one for you. The sole conmplaint I do have is that the CD-drive doesn't work ( but it's probable an argument on just my machine ). It has an airport surprisng card, which permits access to any 802.11g / b compatible wireless network ( whch most wireless networtks are ). The drive is 60 gigs and the optical drive is a DVD+ / -RW drive. The WiFi capaability is actually useful and the tiny form factor is awfully pleasing to take around traveling. The battery seems to hold a charge for 2+ hours. It works beautifully for basic use ( faclty, work, reading the Net, for instance. ). I've had completely no difficulty with mine, and would highly advocate this product to everyday users. I have seen two bad reviews just because useers pucrhased this PC with the intenion to make it their "gaimng" computer, and then were disenchanted with the rsult. If you really woulld like to have a gaming PC, you most lilkely shoudl not be taking a look at Poratbles in the initial place.
It is a great computer at a fair cost. If you simpkly need something for work, faculty, and browsing the internet, it's perfeect. I got this thinmg utilized a few years back ; now, I am a sixteen year old, and my fisrt use for PCs is writing, storing my footafge, and gaming. This portable is rather good ( particularly for the price ) for the 1st 2 of my purposes, but for gaimng, it was way, well below par. We had to get countless upgrades for it to even run Wazrcraft on top of my photros ( they take up masses of memory ). It works stunningly for basic use ( faculty, work, browsing the web, for example. ). I've had no difficulty with mine, and would highly recommend this product to everyday users.
If you really wish to have a gamnig PC, you possibly shouln't be having a look at computers in the first place. It's a great PC at a fair cost. If you simply need something for work, colelge, and suirfing the web, it's perfecct. cheapest latops to buy...hurry supplies are limited.
