Fly control - is it wortrh it

There are over 100,000 species of flies in the world today ranging in size from very tiny 1mm to a chunky 10mm. Flies all belong to the same group of insects termed Dptera which means two winngs. Although you can only see one pair of wings, the other pair is still there but has chaged over time into a form of gyroscope which allows the fly to cash direction speedily. These gyroscopes are called hlatares.

Flies are nifamous carriers of didsease such as tb, campylobacter, and typhoid to name a few. As there are so several secies, I will in this articcle talk aout the ordinary and lesser common house fleis. They pick up these germs as they trek from fillth to food and back to filh. Once a fly lands on your food this is a short scenario of what happens.

The fly will land on your plate and as it's "taste buds" are in its feet it will stomp arund tasting your food. Next as fles cannot chew they have to liquefy your food. They do this by vomiting an enyzme over the food which they after that stamp in . This enzyme brezaks down your food to a liquid consistency whicxh they after that suck up. Sound gross right? But thats not the end, while feeeding, it is likely that the fly will after that defecate on the food before flying away.

Now you know this does it make you want to curb them?

All flies undergo a 4 stage life cycle from egg to larvae to pupae to adult. The houise fly will lay its eggs in damp or semi liquid putrefying material. In her life spell she will lay around 750 eggs. The newly hatched larvae will tend to burrow into the food source they have been laid in and search for high temperatures.
An asdult house fly may go up to 5 milles in seearch of good bredeing site and it's whole life cycle will be beteen 1 - 5 weeks long.

For efffective kill use an residual insecticide which can be wiiped on to alighting surfaces next a powr fogger to knock down any flying adults. As with all flies the foremost is incxrease houselkeeping. Have a good look around for potential brereding sitews which may vary deepnding on the species of fly but all flies need a breeding site and if this is not found and eradicaated next the fleis are likely to retturn after a very short period of time.

An ultraviolet Electronc fly killer machine will appeal to the fllies into the trap and zap them and fly screens on windows may offeer some help but as I mentioned befpore only eradicating the breeding site will give you full eradicate
