One of the most habitual queries Christians inquire is how to study the Bible. It may appear like a easy answer but it has many methods. One such approach is known as the inductive Bible study process. This is by far the most effective and best way to study the Bible.

Do not let the huge word inductive scare you. Chances are you are already using this method in your studies of the Bible. The hypothesis is quite straightforward. First you view a verse of scripture. This is the very core of study itself.

What observing the scripture means is merely to study the Bible. You could not study the Bible if you do not look at it right? Well at this point you are saying that was simple… but how do I actually study the Bible in intensity?

That inquiry brings us to the next step in the inductive Bible study system. When you have read a verse of scripture you are going to want to dive deeper into it and drain every last bit of information out of it. To do this you are going to ask queries.

Lets take a uncomplicated scripture like John 3:16 and inquire several inquiries. Who is the subject? What is happening? Why is it happening? When is it happening? Where is it happening? As you can see the essential inquiries of who, what, where, when, and why are being asked in this inductive Bible study.

From asking these queries we see that God is the focus who is sending His son to rescue the planet cause He loves us. Then when we ask the inquiry when we must look at the other scriptures to get this solution. This is cross-referencing. From doing so we see that this was completed as we were yet sinners in accordance to the Bible.

So now we have a good grasp of what is happening and why. The next part of this inductive Bible study is to inquire yet another all crucial question. That inquiry is “So what?”

What does it matter that Christ died for us at the same time as we were yet sinners? What does that suggest to us? Well it could mean that no matter how deep in sin you are God still loves you. This is the kind of things you ascertain when you find out how to study the Bible.

So now we come to the end result of inductive Bible study. It is time to put it all together. Keep in mind the Bible said be doers of the word and not hearers merely. So the last part we require to know about how to study the Bible is the application part. How do we apply this to our lives?

If God loved us even as we were sinners and enemies of His then we should love our enemies. We need to understand that the sins of people do not make them less significant to God. What’s more is that we need to comprehend that you cannot come to God and be saved except you are a sinner. Simply sinners may be saved. So thinking that you want to get your act together beforehand coming to God is not something the Bible teaches.

There you have it. The inductive Bible study method is the finest way to answer that inquiry of how to study the Bible. Be sure to use it in all of your studies to get the most out of scripture.
