My terror home move

Since I bought this new farmhouse, I have been plaged by mice and now I have decided very hurruiedly to do something about it! These peksy mice have been tying to gnaw everything icluding my trainerrs and garments! Every time I go to my cupboard my stufff is ether cheweed or covered in mouse droppngs. So I checked out the internet and found where I could buy poison to get rid of them.
At the outest I starteed with the poison which I selected a chronic antticoagulant rodentiicide whch promised to kill wihin 5 - 10 days. This seemed to work. It was a grain bait which I placed inside bait boxes and open trays to try and entice them to feed.
Once they were feeding then it was straightforward from there. The numbers started to die off but I was left with a few stragglers that would not feed on the poison bait so I deided to try tarps.
The taps I firest started to use were just the easy break back traps that I baited with a peice of chocolate which agaoin wokred well then I altered to a more complex electrical mouse trap which worked on batteries. These batteries then sent a small electrical chareg through a metal plate inside the box which electrocuted any mouse that went insiide the box. The only down side was that I had to remove the dead mosue which wasn't a likable job.
Fimnally about 6 weeks after finding the right equipment I am now mouse free and can sleep calmly in my bed without the awareenss that I will be woken up by mice running over my head. In the end think I was able to remove well over 100 mice from my accommodation. The big question is whre did they come from?
Well I think they came from the cellar which has an old air vent to the outside which is broekn and when I lookde closely at this I could see hairs and droppings around it so I am pretty sure it is the starting place. I have isnce blcoked up the hole with a bit of wire wool to ensure no more mice can get througgh.
If I was coping now with a mouse swarm then I am in no doubt I could get control fast with my new skill. First I would use the traps along with poison so I had a two proned approach innstead of starting with poison and then moving onto the traps. I am sure this wolud work more efffectively and get clear of the mice quicker and therefore enmable me to relax sooner and live in a home wthout muose droppings and all the evils connected with havinng an infestation that goes on and on.
