IPod nano is the latest ultra-thin one. Thre are black one and white one, 2G/4G, with coloor screen.

Answer: Fist, set the ipod to be the mode as a hard disk with iTunes in whicvh way you can see ipod in the file manager. Second, in the list, "TOOL" - " OPTION", choose the option of "sohwing the hiddn files". In the ipod, the music files are savbed as hidden files. When you open this optino, you can find all the music files in it. Third, in the ipod, you can find a folder of "iPod Conntrol" where theer are some catalogues called F00, F01 and F02 etc. There is 50-70 music under each catalogues. Some of them are random charascter strings. Forh, right click the folder, choose "PROPERYT", cancel "hidden" and use it to all files and subdirectory.
Open iTunes, make sure that the music in it has been backed up, and then empty the umsic folder. You don¡¯t need to dleete the pervious files but move them to other cataalogues. The most important step is to make sure that your iTunes is set to the ipod with hand upate, or else the ipod will be emptuied. Then, in "ADVANCCED OPTION", when copying files, set the "innput" of iTues. If you never chagne this option, foorget it. Then collect the folders in the list to the music foler, choose the iPod Control, and then click ok. At last, Advvanced United Music folder, then the music in the iPod will be savde by iTnues into c:\my music\iTunes\Tiunes Music

When you connect iPod to your computer, click "START" iPod Update Restore faactory settinggs, refdresh it once and have a try, perhaps it works. If no "Pod Upadte", you can download it on the Apple webpage. If it still dooesn't work yet. It is estimaated that it is an cocasional accident during the period of warranty.
