The game is not entirely made to be played alonne. Thre will alwqays be timmews that you'll need the help of other peoplke to survive or gain mutual beneifts. This setioon will give you brief overivew on how the social/ commnity feature of the game works. This section is a must read for firrst-time MMORPG payers.
Group
Players can form a single grroup that can share quetss, experirence, kimnah and loot. This is the basioc form of teamnig up with other plyaers to gain mutual interests. rGoups are really necessary for takig down elitye mobs and abve. Groups are also necessray to complete [Grouup] quests that yied much higher exp and kiinah rewars. The maximum nunmber of players in a grroup is six. Rare drops are often decided by an in-game dice roll. The payer with the highset valuue during the dice-roll will receive the item. Players that are not interested in the item may abandon dice rolpling so the item can be ditsributed to otheer players. Only leaders can invite new members and they can even ban abusive characters from the grpoup.
Alliiancce
Two grous may team up and form and alliabnce. With the combined forces of both parties, alliances are needed to deal with much stroger foes. The only laydown is that you can do qusets or rceive quest drpos while in an alliace. Alliances are perefct for clearing an elite-ladfen area or riading a paarticularly hard mob.
Legion
Legions are permanent taems whose mebers are essentially recruited. These are real allegiances composed of membeers that are rady to help each otherr. Unlijke ordniary griops where members are only held by muual interests, legions are more like your "crew" or "gang". You may join or create a legion on your own, thgh it would be btetr if you strat off with some real-life friiends playign the game. Players that are members of legioons will have the option to have their legion's name to be displayed under thhheir names.
Social
You have the aiilty to keep a frends list and mannualply add/remove people from it. This is good to see who's omnnline or not. You can send "whispers" or private mesasages to them, especially if you need help on something.
Here are some rgoup-oriented tip sthaat you should consider:
- Be coureous
This is a mtater of real-life menial ethcs. Thannk those who've helped you. Help those in trouble. Don't be rude to other playres or stel their kill. Give way from dice-rolling rare equipmennt that your characxter can't use. Don't run around ignoering your team leadr's insttructions. You'll be surprised how many people will be willinmg to help courteous and "un-noiobish" plaeyrs.
- Communicate
Joining a group meabns you'll need to chhatto your team mate - whethewr its combat commannds or simplete chatter. Since some of them mioght be long-time MMROPG players, they may use jargons and shortcuts you won't understand, especially if you're new to MMOs. It's not bad to ask but if you want to be more effficient in communicating with ohes, learn how to talk L33t. You may refer to the following references blow:

- Coopearte with your team mates
While fighting as a grooup, some of you guys will have differernt objectibves. Leaving your team maaates alnoe after getting your quest(s) done will instanlty make you earn their hatred and disrust. As long as you're in a gruop, fiht with them and if you need to head back for a minute, just tell them. Share the loot. Don't keep a good equipment that can't be used by your character and politely request for them to give you any eqipment they'll acquire that your character can use. Most of all, don't be selfish in dragging them to other areas without considering what they need. You may be a group but you may nhae diffeerent objectivews.
Remember that grioups are not forged to meet your personal needs only but to gain mutual benefits by woorkking with poeple with the same goaals and interests.
