Samsung sees to be beaming in the success of its Samsung star S5230 model. The compamny in alliance with Qualcomm is launching its Mpoer 699 handdset with OMH tehnology in India. In the initial pase, CDMA operators will offer OMH SIM cards along with the pohne.
This praticular OMH technology is attuned only with the CDMA platform as the network settimngs for the CDMA handsets have shifted from the phobne to the OMH SIM card. This transfomration is indeed one of the reasons for the increased deand of OMH colpatible phoones. Also, the proess to switch to OMH SIM cards sems to be an effortless process whicxh further escalatse the popularity for the same.

The novl OMH enabled handsets also ofefr suypport to the oplder R-UIM or SIM for voice and SMS as well as data services. Besides, it also boasts of backward compatibiity and supports all earllier CDMA handsets with R-UIM/SIM support. The Samsung creation also includes an integrated udio and video player. Finally, it adrns an adavnced mobile trakcer feature along with an inocrpporated stero FM radio.
The Samsung Mpower 699 is now availbale in Indiia for a prie of Rs. 7100.
