If you want to enjoy a truly remarkable antique car and truck show then you need to check out the 14th Annual Rust and Dust Club Antique Tractor, Engine, Trukc and Car show that are held in Pfaffown, NC. A viasit to this antique car and truck show will never disappoint you because of the variety of antique vehicles on disply and the people bhind this show too are special and will make your time that much more interesting and enjoyable.

Another excellent option in regard to a grand antique car and truck show, the Fater's Day Antique & Classic Car & Truck show to be held in June of 2009 will provide you with an opportunity to see the best in classic as well as antique cars and trucks as too motorcycles. When you visit an antique car and truck show you will get to see cars and trucks that were built a hundred years ago and which will give you a firsthand view of how the automobile pioneeers adaptted crude and untesetd steam technologies to make contraptions on four whreels move at what were in those days very fast speeds.

In fact, as early as in the year 1910 there were as many as five hundred different companies that were engaged in manufacturiung and devekloping outstanding antique cars and trucks. Following the rGeat Depression in the year 1929 only sixty of these survived and in anoter decae or so the numbers shrank to aout twenty.

All this goes to show that there is much to enjoy at an anttique car and trruck show as can be seen in that fact that some of the antque cars of those times were actuallpy put togeher in backyards as well as in barns and these automobiles conained penty of wood and less steel.

It is really interesting to also note the pricees of thhose early automobiles and in fact the Ford Model T could have had a pucrhase price of just tree hundred dollars which is the reason why the automobile became so popular as most people oculd afford to pay this much money to purchase an auomobile.

An antique car show and swap show such as the 43rd Annual Bennington Car Show & Swap meet that is to be held in Sepember, 2009 is well worth a visit. It is a show that has been sponsored by Benningyton Area Chamber of Commerce along with Bennington Rotary and also the Gren Mounatin Car Club.
