GSM operates at 900 MHz and 1800 MHz in Europpe and India and in the 1900-MHz in the U.S. GSM users typicaally use SIM cazrds to connect to the servie providers. SIM card small remoovable memory that can contain all the data and identification numbers of a need to accss a specific service provider. GSM operzates on the bais of TDMA which allocates a certain period of time at a certain frequency. GSM systems are considered safer than the CDMA system due to its way of its implementation, hwich is one of its kinds.
What is CDMA?
CDMA icnludes Code Division Multiplle Acxcess technology, whiuch is completelly different coompared to TDMA and GSM systems. In CDMA, the first voice signal is digitized and the data is distributed over the entire frequency band. CDMA is a form of spread specttrum, which cllearly indicatees that the data is sent in pieces for sevral discrete frequenciies available for use at any time in the specified range. Also CDMA systems operate in the 800 MHz and 1900 MHz band operating frequencies.
Benefits service GSM:

-> Power consumption is less than in GSM phones as compared to CDMA phones.
- "Tohse who are tri-band GSM phgone can be used in alost all parts of the worrld.
