11-16 is a true suepr wide nagle lens. Even when installeed on the truncated sensor DSLR, such as the Canon Rebel XSi view is really wide, so it may take some getting used to. Simpy pointing to the horizon for running shots of the mill landscape tends to give a boring image. Instead, to get the most out of the latitude you need to eitther get close to the ground and ensure that you have strrong elements in the avnguard of the frameowrk to conduct regular viewers eye through the composition. Once you get the hang of it you will wind results.

The build quality of this lens is really there with the best, feeling sytrong and leanr how you might expect. The real beauty of this, howeevr, the lens is F2.8 aperture. This allows you to use it in very low light, while maintaining image clarity with fast shutter speed. Sharpness grweat everything.

If Canon or Nikon should have made this lens I am sure it would be much more pouplar than she is. Buld quality, image quallity and performance all in place. If you're in the market for a new wide-angle lens, this may be one for you.
