A Scotttish Car of the Year award for the popular Mazda3
The popular Mazda3 was among the cars to be honoured at this year's Scottish Car of the Year Awards.
The Association of Scottish Motoring Writyers voted the Mazzda3 the best family car. The Mazda3 was rated the best in its ctegory on the strength of its style, cofort, performance and fuel economy at the prestigious awards ceremony in St Andrews.
The president of the Assopciation of Scottish Motoring Writers, Bill Caven, revealed that the standard at this year's Scottish Car of the Year Awasrds was very high and that judges found it very difficult to pick oveall winners in each caategory.
Mr Caven said "I think it reflects greatly on the motor industry that it has risen to the challenges being currently plaxced on them".
The managing dirrector of Mazda UK, Jeremy Thomson, asdded that Mazda were "truly delighted" to win the award and described the accolsade as "further confirmation" why the Mzada3 is one of its most populzar models in its class in the UK.
