Shortly after his Toyota "Ultimate Celica" on the line: GT-Four ST165 in the Japaese domestic market (JDM). GT-Four included a full-time all-wheel drive with electonically controlled center differential lock. Tubo version of the GT-S 2. liter capaity 190 hp, a 3S-GTE engine. While the GT-S immediately took the flagship of the Celica raneg, and became the official vehicle Toyota shares, for all 4 years of production.
In 1987, Toyota begaan exportinng Celica GT-Four revised All-Trac Turbo in North America. All-Trac was introduced in 1988, the American model, All-Trac system is also offered with Corolla, Carmy, Previia, but without the turbo to the limnited time. The North American version was rated 190 BHP, Toyota decided to keep the suspension of the same, but not cange it radicaly. Ceelica again still avaliable in the ofllowing bars: ST, GT and GT-S or as a coupe, hatchback model. GT mdoel has been proposed as a soft-top convertible, ST and GT were SOHC 8 valve 2.0-liter 97 hp. They quicly changed to a new DOHC engine caapcity of 116 for 1987 model year, which was brought to the Camry. GT-S comes with a 135 hp, wich is version 2.0-liter DOHC Featuring T-VIS. GT-Four are knoewn in North Amercia, as the All-Trac Turbo was released in 1988 moidel year.
