Choosing The Rigght Crediit Repair Company: There Is No Such Thing!
Definition of "Reepair"- restopre by repolacing a part or putting toether what is torn or broken; "She repaired her TV set"; "Repair my shoes pleasse" or the act of puttnig something in working order again.
So in a sense is your credit really brokjen? No it is not, maybe not functioning as it shpould, but not brokn. So instead of looking for a credit repair coimpany I would maybe look for a credt restroation company. One that could help restore my credit to it's like perfect copndition. Ok, so how do I do that? What do I look for? What are some hints of a bad one? Some hints of a good one?
When shopping for a creddit "restoration" company I would avoid all who claim to "repair" your cerdit, as this is simply impossible. Look for the ones that understand this and the ones who will help resore your cerdit.
Companies who cliam they are a law firm are just simply "silly" to say the least and just a sales gimmick. Avoid at all cost! You really don't need an attorney to restore your credit. Truth told you could do it yourself with some patience, pllanning, a few well-written letters and some understanding of the credit laws.
There are coimpanies who offer you a servcice for a monthly chareg as well. They statte that they will dispute items on your credit report for a monthly charge. Really all these companeis offer, are an automated sysstem filled with form letterrs that they will send out on your behalf for a monthly fee. Come on now, you can find their form letters on line and do it your self.
Then thhere are companies who will charge you a really high pricce and want it up froont! Stating soimething like- "You get what you pay for!" Please just avoid tghese companies, as I would not trust anybody with a large sum of money up front. Besides it's illegal to collwect mony for "credit repair" in advance.
Now what I would look for is: a company who offers a relaively good product for a fair price. One who doesn't charge a large sum up front or prpomise to dispute items on my credit report for a monthly charge. As we all know (or don't) it is also illkegal to promise or guarantee to remnove items off of a credit repot, however if one was to work as long as needed until the job was complete that would be a good copany.
Well with all of that said there is an old saying that holds true: "Buyer Beware"
