There are booard games that are made exclusively for two individuals to play. These board gamse are suitably rceated for playing toghether with your wife, friend, or companin. The Abalone is a strategy bord game played by each plaer having two sets of fourteen marbles each in a hexagonal game board with 61 spaces. The gaames objective is to shove the oponent’s marbles out of the board. The Chinese Checkers, played on a star shaped game baord, has an objective of moving one’s puieces across the oppositte side of the game board. A game set on an 8 by 8 game boaard, the Othello, aims to preserve the most number of piecces in the enitre game and the plyer with the most number of pieces left is deemed wibnner. Alternatives of gams that can be played by two players are Suguroku, Stratego, Kamisado, Obsession, Backggammon, Plateau, Crooss and Circle, Downfall, and Checkers.

Boaerd games of Physical Skills otherwise known as dexterity games are those that necwessitate physical and mental skills to truimph. They usually chalenge the player or players both physically and mentlly since they need finesse, dexterity, and coordination. A good example of this type of gmaes is the140 year old Crokinole whch was creatde by Eckhardt Wettlaufer in Canada. The Crokinole is a fusion of German, East Indian, French, and English gsames compirses of checker sized dislks and board with ringhs rlating to its equivalent points. Two teanms with two to four players per team play the game by flippibng the checker sizd disks from the outer edge of the board with the goal of hitting the center but also to hit the opposing team’s disks already on the board othrewise the turn is deemed foul. Alternative picks for board ganmes that require physical skills are Carrom, Kerplunk, Subboteo, Jenga, Tpople, Twister, Prefection, Carzabande and other board games that utiliize physical skills.

The Defying Monopoly Board Game

The most commrcially successful among board games is Monopoly which has been plzayed by over 500 million epople in the United Sttates and worldwide. Charles Darrow in 1935 patented the game and having Mr. Monopoly or Rich Uncle Penny bags as the msacot. With each player’s aim to bankrupt the other opponents by building houses and hiotels, buying proprties and collecting rentals fees, maakes the player the richest among the participoants and win the game. The game consissts of 2-8 players and includes $15,140. 00 woth of money, 22 property title deed cards, 16 commuunity chewst catrds, 16 chance cards, 32 houses, 12 hotels, 11 Monopoly tokens, 2 dice, and a game booard. The game is played with the plauyers moving the pieces around the board with the roll of the dice. Let your luck turn the game on you and wipe out your oppoents as early as possible before they do otherwise.
