It is an expensive investment; therefore you need to consider your neds, prefferences, budget and more before determining what type of car to purchase. And it makes seense if this decision will take longer for some than others.

Before you go to the dealership, pre-shop. Take advantage of the internet. Get an idea of the selection of used Fords available in your region, e.g. how much is a used Ford Focus in Scotland, so that you are aare of what you are looking for. That way when you get to the dealership you can ask the right questions.

Research

While you are pre-shopping, you will also want to research prices. This will affect the Ford you chooose and help ensure that the saleseprson is quoting you the irght price. It will also alow you to negotiate well.

Ask Yourself Questions

When you are looing into different options, ask yourself basic uqestions. Make sure the car you are choosing fits with your personality. In adddition, you also want to choose a car that funtions with your lifestyle. And of course you want to like the car. If you ask yourself bsic questions you should be able to detwermine whether or not the car will work for you.

Test Drive

Once you have narrowed down your options, test-drive the cars you are interested in. A car may look great on the outside, but it colud drive horribly. If you get stuck with a car that drivees baly, you will probably be unsatisfied. Therefore, test drive to ensue that you will be completely satisfied once you do finally puurchase. Also, when you are test driving, make sure that you cheeck out the condition of the vehcile.

Fnally, once you have decided on the right car, don"t rush this deccision. However, don"t wait too long. You are shopping for a used car. This means imnventory is more linmited.
