the world of entertainment is a must have for human beings. without this, life can be prettyborring. most of us have unknowingly become who we are because of watching or attending entertainment functions or programs. our world view has been pretty much shaped by the glue factor the world of entertainment has on us
there is something in this realm that moves our {hearts delightfully. and somehow it results in us opening our pockets to it; not in a bad way though.
but closer to reality though, we also still have scams, cons and schemes ran by shadowy people that leave us {shocked in their wake. this willingness to be duped is what is worrying me. and it is not only in my country but all over the world. alerts to travelers are all over the place; at airports, bus termini etc.
it seems that our warning bells and whistles are getting infective with each coming year. and this is adversely affecting our survival as the human species.
my issue is even {evident our personal relationships. how many times have you come across an odd couple that you personally felt are not fit for each other? or that one of them will spoil the other. how many times have you seen someone spoil their kids openly only to let them loose on society in thefuture .
well, where i am going with all this? i think we need to seriously think of all the things that are going wrong due our changing lifestyles and put them back in check. some sort of handbook ought to be developed or acquired to help chart us back to the right path. right nowlifestyles are so relative that this week, on tv, it was broadcasted that some parent in asia has been regularly handing his two year old cigarettes to smoke.
it is such trends that make modern philosophy so critical. we need to question society. it's some sort of self analysis that helps us determine whether we are developing or decadence is getting the upper hand
personally my trouble is this. if someone can still pull off ponzi schemes and other cons in these modern times; despite numerous awareness and publicity campaigns, then why can't a supreme being be harboring the mother of all schemes? he is the alpha and omega, so how tasking is it for our creator to pull off the schemes of all schemes!
i once had a dream about the supreme being and his minders having a heated contest during their leisurely discussions. the supreme being's minders were urging their master to create a creature like them, that could live on its own free-will, to see if it could recognize its master; or creator for that matter. this {debate created a lengthy debate. though the supreme being could foretell the future, he did not know the duration needed to achieve his desired outcome. he only knew the answer if he created a being that he, somewhat, influenced or controlled; not one that he created with "a free-will." he thus felt conered by his minders. the "free-will" factor ruled him out of influencing this creation directly. and so it came to be that man was created and brought down to earth.
